Preparing Your Vehicle as a Place To Live
Preparing to live out of your car means making sure you can use it for storage and as the place where you will have to reside.
To get it ready, you will need;
- sunshades for insulation and privacy
- seat organizers for gear
- window covers to block light at night
- blankets
- sleeping pads or a small inflatable mattress that fit your seat layout
- Include extra water, snacks, and small cooking gear like a camp stove or gas fueled stove.
Keep battery banks or solar chargers for powering lights or radios.
🌲If you want, you can add a portable toilet solution (foldable bucket, waste bags) for sanitation.
Make sure you have emergency tools:

Get regular maintenance for your engine and brakes
You will nee vehicle to be reliable and it is your safe place. Living in your car isn’t the ideal solution, but it can buy you time to regroup and start your journey.
